From the early design brief through selecting detailing and finishes to training the fitters and inspecting the installation, Fatra has a range of services tailored to the needs of each of those involved in the process. Fatra’s advice is linked with a commercial awareness of the implications of different design decisions as well as the latest regulations and technical advances.

Design

Modern roofing is complex as buildings make increasing use of the ‘fifth façade’. A roof can now be called upon to be an amenity space, carry plant or be a garden. In all cases Fatra will advise on which of the Fatra roofing systems solves the project’s needs. Fatra can then provide NBS specifications, CAD detailing and other services to support the design. All this is carried out with an aim of also reducing the environmental impact of the roof.

Inspections

Fatra continue their technical support while the roof is being constructed. Fatra Field Technicians are trained inspectors, working on site to review the installation and help ensure the roof is installed correctly.

Fatra is only sold to trained roofing contractors. A product is only as good as the person installing it so Fatra roofers are trained in the correct installation and detailing as well as how to design and price a Fatra project.
